New Saint John Transit Facilities now Officially Open

September 8th 2009 -- Saint John -- Saint John's new transit headquarters was officially opened Tuesday morning. It has been designed to last at least 50 years and use less energy than other buildings its size. The $23.5-million centre replaces the former transit centre on Fairville Boulevard. The federal government provided $8.1 million toward construction costs and another $4.8 million toward the purchase of 19 new buses.

Rob Moore is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and the MP for Fundy Royal.
