Conservative Members of Parliament share a positive vision for Canada at Moncton Meeting

A well attended breakfast meeting was held Wednesday, July 20 at the Ramada Hotel in Moncton. The N.B. Professional and Business Women Association, Communities leaders, Municipal and Provincial Government Members, Conservative Party members and the general public were in attendance.

The event was hosted by Conservative Candidate for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe, Charles Doucet. Several high profile Conservative members of Parliament including Conservative Party Deputy Leader and Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Critic Peter MacKay MP Central Nova, Nova Scotia, Ted Menzies MP Macleod, Alberta who serves as the CPC Critic for International Trade and Rob Moore, MP Fundy Royal. Miramichi Conservative Candidate Michael Morrison and Jean LeBlanc, New Brunswick's National Councillor with the CPC were also in attendance.

Conservative Candidate for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe, Charles Doucet spoke about his experience as a health care professional and shared his vision for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe and what his focus would be as a Conservative Member of Parliament.

Ted Menzies talked about the Conservative Party and CPC MP's like himself becoming familiar with Atlantic Canada and the issues important to the Atlantic Canadians. He noted that many of the problems in his part of Canada are shared here in Atlantic Canada.

The Deputy Leader, Peter MacKay talked about what Canadians need and want from a government and that the Conservative Party was ready to provide that leadership. There was a question and answer time where Rob and other MP's answered the questions put forward from members of the audience.
