Canada Day Celebrations in Fundy Royal

Every year communities across Canada organize festivities to celebrate Canada Day. This year Canadians celebrated our nation's 141st Birthday.

Rob participated in as many events as time would allow. Not all celebrations were on July 1st and several events were held on the Saturday prior. Rob went to the Kingston Farmers Market for the Canada Day cake cutting where he addressed the folks that turn out every Saturday for the Market. Afterwards he set off for Alma to participate in their annual parade.

Canada Day saw Rob begin his day in Hampton for the Canada Day Celebration and cake cutting, then off to Quispamsis where he first went to the new Kingsway Care Centre and assisted at a BBQ then off to Meenan's Cove where he joined the huge crowd and participated in the celebrations which included various activities and cake cutting. Next stop was Apohaqui where he spoke to the crowd during the kickoff to their Canada Day celebrations. Later that afternoon Rob also enjoyed attending a supper hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion in Norton. The Sussex Parade held in the evening was the final event in Rob's busy and enjoyable Canada Day schedule.
