The Young Conservative Caucus
The Young Conservative Caucus (YCC) was launched by Leader Stephen Harper on
June 16, 2005. The YCC is an initiative that will build on the many talents
of the 20 Conservative Members aged 40 or under. The group will help shape
the policy and priorities of the Conservative Party of Canada and our
country for years to come.
"Our party is young and energetic, in fact, we are the youngest caucus in
the House of Commons today," said Moore. "I am looking forward to working
with the YCC team and encouraging young Canadians to be involved in the
democratic process."
The YCC will hold a retreat over the summer recess to meet with a variety of
interest groups who can help this caucus develop policies conducive to
younger Canadians, and establish outreach programs that will create
important linkages across the country.
