Good News for Sussex Pool Project

February 11, 2011 -- Sussex, New Brunswick -- Today the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of Small Business and Tourism and MP for Fundy Royal, issued the following statement regarding our federal Government's support for this project:

"As the Member of Parliament from Fundy-Royal, I am very pleased that our Government will be providing an additional $1 million dollars to assist the construction of the Sussex Pool Project. Working with my colleague, the Honourable Keith Ashfield, Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, our Government has announced that additional funding is coming from ACOA's Innovative Community Fund program."

"It has been my pleasure to have worked with Sussex Mayor Ralph Carr and Council; the Center's Organizing Committee; the Honourable Bruce Northrup, MLA for Sussex; and all those individuals from surrounding communities that will see the realization of a dream for area residents."

"I look forward to the day when people will be able to open the doors on this new building, a new centerpiece for our region."
